We are pleased to announce that Danielle Rider came 2nd Place in the Sport Women section of the Soggy Bottom race at Newnham Park, Plymouth on Sunday 19th January 2009.

Lap Times as follows;
Lap 1 - 00:31:24
Lap 2 - 00:37:16
Lap 3 - 00:39:18

Lorna Rider (Danielles Mum) also entered the Veteran Women's Category and came 1st place, this is a fantastic achievement for Lorna as it is her first race.

Working Time Regulations - Update

From the 1st April 2009, The Working Time (Amendment) Reulations 2007 will increase the statutory minimum holiday entitlement to 28 days or 5.6 weeks.

Does this apply to your business?
Well it could do, if you currently give your employees 4 weeks plus Bank Holidays, then you don't have to do anything. The 5.6 days or 28 days takes into account the eight bank holidays. If you don't, then make sure you do from April 2009 and remember to let your employees know by issuing a new employment contrac...

How will the lower interest rates help us?

As we have probably all heard, the Bank of England has cut base rates to 3%, thats a 1.5% cut. But how will the interest rates help our businesses?

Whilst Forklift Agency has survived the "Credit Crunch," many hundreds of businesses have gone bust. Out of our customers we have had 5 go into administration and after reading through the administrators reports these companies are broke big style.

At the back end of one of the reports, it lists all of the companies that the main company owes money ...
